Working closely with clients, project teams, and the BIM department, the design team transforms concepts into detailed, build-ready technical designs that meet regulatory standards, client specifications, and sustainability goals. Their work underpins the technical accuracy and efficiency of our installations, ensuring seamless integration from planning through to construction.

The role involves delivering mechanical design solutions from proposal through to installation and commissioning. Key responsibilities include producing detailed installation drawings, plant selections and technical schedules; completing heating and hot water load calculations to ensure accurate plant sizing; developing project-specific BMS control panel drawings and descriptions of operation; conducting site surveys of existing and new properties to assess services and heating plant options; attending design meetings and reporting findings; and working closely with contracts managers and commissioning teams to support commissioning and optimise BMS controls. The role also requires collaboration with an established design team using the latest AutoCAD and MEP 3D design software.
