Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in claims handling.
• Holding CIP/MDI/ACII or working towards professional qualifications.
• Excellent technical insurance knowledge.
• Strong decision making and numeric skills.
• High level interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience engaging with suppliers and external vendors.
• Willingness to adapt to business change and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of material damage claims.
• Proactively manage cases to settlement within designated authority.
• Demonstrate advanced technical claims competence for moderate to high complexity claims.
• Drive cases to timely resolution with focus on customer service, indemnity and expense.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and inform on file updates.
• Provide high customer service and comply with legal/regulatory requirements.
• Utilise telematics technology to improve outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement via Quality Audit feedback.
• Liaise with customers, brokers, service providers and claimants.
• Manage relationship for first and third party claimants.
• Implement standards, controls, practices and procedures to maintain discipline.
• Escalate issues per Zurich standards and comply with regulations.
