Job summary

Dexcom Ireland is seeking a Manufacturing Technician 3 to support equipment engineers in scaling up manufacturing for Dexcom CGM products. You will test and validate automated equipment, work with suppliers, and help deploy cross-functional equipment projects.

Under the Engineering Supervisor, you will perform testing, assembly and documentation, ensuring safety and quality standards. The role involves traveling 5-10% and collaborating in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read, analyse and interpret common scientific and technical documents related to equipment specifications.
• Ability to write routine reports, pass downs and correspondence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of PLC and automated production/processing equipment.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, electro/mechanical systems and automated packaging equipment is desirable.
• Experience with process improvement projects to improve yields and reduce downtime.
• Proven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies using test equipment.
• Operate, test, or maintain robotic equipment and vision systems.
• Analyse and record test results and prepare written documentation.
• Perform operational tests and fault isolation on automated systems and equipment.
• Assist equipment development activities under supervision of the project engineer.
• Update equipment documentation (manuals, drawings, specifications) as needed.
• Carry out testing, troubleshooting and validation to meet equipment specs.
