Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Limerick, Ireland, seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen manufacturing performance and process capability in a fast-paced, highly automated, regulated environment.

You will provide engineering support across operations, troubleshoot issues, and drive projects that improve quality, yield, and reliability while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Process, Automation, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years’ engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of manufacturing and automation solutions to improve capability, performance, quality and output.
• Design, installation, qualification, optimisation and improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling and controls.
• Provide troubleshooting support using structured problem-solving and data analysis.
• Partner with operations, quality, maintenance, validation, supply chain and other engineering teams to implement robust solutions.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce cost, increase capacity and improve performance.
• Lead or support technical projects from concept through implementation with clear execution and risk management.
• Ensure timely completion of Quality System deliverables including CAPAs, non-conformances, audit actions and change controls.
