Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Vision in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Process Engineering team within the Supply Chain Value Stream. You will provide technical leadership for manufacturing processes, drive process improvement, and support new product transfers.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, SPC/DOE methods, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality medical devices on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Level 8 degree in Physics/Chemistry/Biological Science or Mechanical/Material/Process Engineering with a proven track record.
• Minimum seven years' work experience in a manufacturing environment or similar.
• Desirable: DOE, Process Capability Analysis, Hypothesis Testing and FDA validation familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership within a production value stream.
• Lead process characterization, challenge testing and validation for new products.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality and OEE.
• Collaborate to resolve manufacturing quality issues with cross-functional teams.
• Lead process redesigns and installation/qualification of new equipment.
• Coordinate multiple projects and manage timelines.
