Suir Engineering is seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Ireland. Based in Dublin / Kildare with potential travel to Germany, you will lead the commercial and contractual aspects through the project life cycle.

We value experienced professionals with a background in electrical/mechanical fields, strong communication, and the ability to drive cost control and procurement across projects in Energy, Pharma, and Data Centres. Join a growing, international engineering provider.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying.
• 5+ years’ experience working as a Project QS.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in the electrical/mechanical field.
• Ability to prioritise workload with deadlines and high attention to detail.
• Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
• Enjoy working as part of a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Management and ownership of the commercial and contractual requirements through the life cycle of the project.
• Interface with Client Commercial/Contract Team.
• Project Procurement including Sub-contractors.
• Conduct cost and risk analysis.
• Review all correspondence from Employers, Design Team and/or subcontractors to identify contractually critical items and initiate replies.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontractors.
• Provide project costing, margin & cashflow reports.
• Manage project change order procedures and agree costs with client.
