Job summary

Adept:us is seeking a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities for major mechanical and electrical packages within a complex engineering environment in Ireland. You will work closely with project and commercial teams to manage cost control, variations, and final accounts. A strong building services background and NEC/JCT/RIAI contract knowledge are essential, with a proven track record in subcontractor management.

Qualifications

• Senior or experienced QS with M&E or Building Services background.
• Strong mechanical bias and experience with M&E contractors.
• Knowledge of NEC/JCT/RIAI contracts.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts, variations and final accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor applications, variations and final accounts.
• Identify, price and manage project variations and change.
• Prepare interim valuations and commercial reports.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, budgets and forecasts.
• Work with site teams to identify changes and capture cost impacts.
• Support monthly cost reporting and final accounts.
