Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Accountant within the M&A team to drive technical accounting analysis, pre-close and post-close integration for the company’s acquisition strategy. You will work with Corporate Development, Finance, Legal, Tax, Employee Success and Operations to evaluate transactions and ensure accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong technical accounting capabilities in business combinations, stock compensation, foreign currency, and statutory reporting, plus solid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/CA or equivalent certification required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience (Big 4 or equivalent preferred).
• Strong technical accounting knowledge in US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with business combinations, stock compensation, foreign currency, and consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical accounting research and documentation for business combinations and asset acquisitions.
• Support purchase price allocations and goodwill assessments, including opening balance sheets.
• Analyze stock-based compensation, foreign currency translation and statutory reporting across jurisdictions.
• Prepare audit memos and assist with US GAAP to statutory adjustments.
• Lead or support integration workstreams and cross-functional collaboration in M&A.
