Job summary

Salesforce in Dublin is seeking a Senior Accountant, M&A to lead technical accounting for business combinations, asset acquisitions, and fair value assessments. You will support PPA, goodwill, and opening balance sheets with input to ERP systems and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting (Big 4 preferred), CPA/CA, and deep knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS across multinational entities. On-site with potential for flexible coordination with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA/CA or equivalent required.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience (Big 4 or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting expertise in US GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in business combinations and purchase accounting.
• Experience with ERP or system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical accounting research and documentation for business combinations, asset acquisitions, equity transactions, and fair value measurements.
• Support purchase price allocations, goodwill and intangible asset assessments, and opening balance sheets.
• Analyze topics including stock-based compensation, foreign currency translation, consolidation, and statutory reporting.
• Prepare audit-ready memos and assist with internal/external audits and US GAAP to statutory adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC rules where applicable.
