Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant in its M&A team to drive technical accounting analysis, pre-close and post-close integration for acquisitions, and to ensure accurate reporting across entities.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or technical accounting.
Strong technical accounting expertise in US GAAP and IFRS, especially business combinations, stock compensation, and foreign currency.
Experience with post-merger integration and ERP/system integrations.

Responsibilities

Technical Accounting and Reporting: Research and document business combinations, asset acquisitions, equity transactions, and fair value measurements.
M&A Transaction Support: Evaluate historical financials, quality of earnings, and provide input into deal structuring.
Integration Planning and Execution: Lead/assist in opening balance sheets, purchase price allocations, and cross-functional integration tasks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate complex topics to non-technical stakeholders and improve accounting practices.
