Job summary

EirGrid in Ireland is seeking a Senior Lead Analyst / Senior Lead Engineer to join the Future Markets team. You will contribute expert analysis and leadership across market design, regulatory engagement and readiness workstreams.

This role offers the chance to shape key initiatives for CEP Regulation alignment, EU market changes and net zero targets. Travel to meetings may be required as part of stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electricity market arrangements, market design, system operations.
• Ability to analyse complex regulatory or policy issues and translate into recommendations.
• Experience leading workstreams or programmes in a multi-stakeholder environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver analysis, design inputs and implementation tasks within scope.
• Prepare plans and materials with progress, risks and decisions for escalation.
• Engage with regulatory authorities, government departments and industry participants.
• Collaborate across functions to test assumptions and ensure requirements are met.
