Job summary

Enexa Partners is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer for Future Operations (Tools & Models) in County Dublin, Ireland. This hybrid role combines leadership with hands-on power systems modelling, EMT analysis and tool development to support a renewables-enabled grid.

You will lead the Tools & Models team, drive advanced modelling capabilities, engage with multiple stakeholders, and shape strategies for automation, data management and high‑fidelity simulations.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering with strong Power System modelling experience.
Experience with EMT studies and phasor-domain analysis.
Proven ability to lead technical projects and engage with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead the Tools & Models team to uplift Power System Modelling and Simulation capabilities across the organisation.
Analyse industry and technology trends to anticipate future grid needs.
Act as Technical Lead for strategic projects and multi-stakeholder engagements.
Review and improve Power System Analysis Tools, Model Quality Testing and Validation processes.
Develop strategies for single source of truth, data management, version control and automation.
Lead the EMT Roadmap and Grid Forming strategy to support Irish Grid integration.
Coach and develop junior team members and communicate with senior management.
