Job summary

EirGrid, Ireland’s electricity grid operator, is seeking a Senior Analyst/Senior Engineer to join the Future Markets team. You will provide senior analytical and regulatory support, own defined work packages, and coordinate with regulators, industry participants and internal teams to deliver practical market outcomes.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in engineering, economics, business or related field.
• Strong analytical and regulatory understanding.
• Experience in multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver defined analysis, design inputs and implementation tasks for Future Markets initiatives within scope and timelines.
• Prepare plans, deliverables and materials for work packages, highlighting progress, risks and decisions.
• Work with programme management, operations, IT delivery and regulation to align outputs with delivery plans.
• Develop communications, briefing materials and stakeholder documentation for internal and external audiences.
• Support EU level working groups and travel as required.
