Job summary

activpayroll in Dublin is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to manage client payrolls from start to Revenue declarations, advising on tax and social contributions, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience.

You will lead end-to-end Irish payroll processing for diverse, high-complexity client portfolios, coordinate governance calls, and ensure compliance with current legislation and deadlines.

Qualifications

• IPASS certification with at least 5 years of proven experience in Irish payroll processing, ideally in a busy bureau environment.
• Strong team-player who can work under pressure and coordinate multiple payrolls.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality, able to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point for a varied portfolio of payroll clients with minimal supervision, delivering excellent customer service.
• Process and review end-to-end Irish payrolls of varying headcount and complexity to agreed timelines.
• Host governance calls with clients to track progress and identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure payroll manuals reflect current processes and legislation and are regularly updated.
• Prepare payroll calendars, checklists, and checking sheets for every payroll.
• Address and resolve complex client, partner, or colleague queries.
• Prepare and upload ROS submissions and handle Revenue queries on behalf of clients.
• Prepare, upload MFF submissions to NAERSA and respond to autoenrollment matters.
• Deliver proactive customer service and escalate issues as needed.
