Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Ireland seeks an HVAC Engineering SME to own HVAC systems for GMP and Non GMP operations. You will drive engineering standards, support regulatory compliance, and ensure safe, reliable plant operations across the site.

You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and external service providers to align with global engineering standards and NSAI/industry best practices. This is a leadership-focused, compliance-driven role on a busy pharma site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/chemical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with HVAC systems in pharma/regulated environments (GMP).
• Knowledge of cGDP/GMP and EHS directives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance for HVAC systems (GDP/GMP, EHS, European directives).
• Develop PRD/URS for new equipment and modifications.
• Act as Point Person for BMS project team on HVAC systems.
• Review drawings and technical data for handover to site engineering.
• Review and approve Bid-Packages for HVAC equipment and projects.
• Advise on bid contents and ensure quality and timely completion.
• Support Special Systems strategy and overall utilities system ownership.
