Job summary

LSC Life Science Consultants is seeking an HVAC Engineer to support cutting-edge manufacturing and laboratory facilities in the life sciences sector. The role focuses on designing new HVAC systems and modifying existing ones, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage projects from conception to commissioning and validation, collaborate with users and Purchasing, and contribute to CIR documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience supporting manufacturing or laboratory HVAC projects in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage HVAC projects from conception through commissioning and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design of new HVAC systems and modifications to existing systems.
• Define project scopes with user representatives and detail in user requirement specifications; coordinate technical requirements with area users.
• Provide estimates and technical guidance for CIR completion; draft initial CIR for approval.
• Select and procure HVAC plant equipment; tender and award HVAC contracts with Purchasing Department.

HVAC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to provide vital engineering support to our small molecule business and ensure our HVAC systems meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design of new HVAC systems and the modifications to existing HVAC systems.
• Define the project scopes with the user representatives and detail in user requirement specifications. Co-ordinate the technical requirements with the area user representative.
• Provide estimates and technical guidance to user areas for CIR completion. Draft initial CIR for presentation for approval.
• Select & procure HVAC plant equipment tender and award HVAC contracts in conjunction with Purchasing Department.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related discipline
• Previous experience supporting manufacturing or laboratory HVAC projects in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
• Demonstrated ability to manage HVAC projects from conception through commissioning and validation
