Job summary

Stantec is seeking an experienced HSSE professional to support the implementation and continual improvement of global, regional and business unit HSSE programmes. You will apply advanced HSSE knowledge across operations, offices, projects and field environments to drive risk reduction and continuous improvement.

The role involves supporting risk management, assurance activities and incident management, while collaborating with colleagues to deliver practical, risk-based solutions and guidance.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum of seven years’ HSSE experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of HSSE legislation, risk management and incident management processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continual improvement of global, regional and business unit HSSE programmes and initiatives.
• Ensure consistent application of HSSE systems, standards, procedures and processes.
• Deliver HSSE communications, awareness initiatives and operational engagement activities.
• Maintain HSSE documentation, records, reporting requirements and action-tracking systems.
• Assist in ensuring operational consistency and effective application of HSSE requirements.
