Job summary

Gilligan Black Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor – Employee Relations for a large services organisation in Ireland, supporting roughly 3,000 employees nationwide and partnering with senior management on complex ER matters.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will manage a diverse ER caseload, advise on employment law, performance, disciplinaries and TUPE, and collaborate with trade unions to drive best practice across the business.

Qualifications

• Degree in HRM or related discipline and/or CIPD qualification.
• Strong practical knowledge of Irish employment law and ER/IR.
• Proven experience managing a broad range of ER/IR cases independently.
• Experience in a unionised services environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters and provide practical, business-focused advice.
• Advise managers on performance, attendance, disciplinaries and grievances.
• Navigate employment legislation and company policies, preparing relevant correspondence and documentation.
• Collaborate with trade unions and support redundancy, layoff, and TUPE processes; assist with Third Party Hearings.
