Job summary

Auto Boland Group is seeking an experienced Group HR Manager to lead the HR function across its multi-site dealership group in Ireland. Reporting to the Group Director, you will oversee employee relations, policy development, and HR service delivery across all locations.

You will provide strategic HR guidance to General Managers, ensure compliance with Irish employment law, manage the HR team, and drive workforce planning, recruitment, and training. CIPD membership would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a senior HR management role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and employee relations.
• Experience managing disciplinary, grievance and investigation processes.
• Experience in multi-site or operational business environments.
• Experience managing and developing an HR team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confidential handling of information and data.
• Proficiency in HR systems, reporting and Microsoft Office.
• A relevant HR qualification and CIPD membership would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations matters including disciplinary procedures, grievances, investigations and absence management.
• Provide HR advice to General Managers on employment matters and ensure fair procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and maintain HR policies and documentation.
• Oversee the HR team, workloads, responsibilities, development and service delivery.
• Collaborate with General Managers and Financial Controllers on recruitment and workforce planning.
• Oversee recruitment processes and approvals across locations.
• Monitor probation reviews, performance appraisals, absence management and mandatory training.
• Support and coach managers in day-to-day people-management.
• Prepare and maintain Group HR reports and dashboards for Directors.
• Coordinate Group-wide Health and Safety activities with external specialists.
• Maintain accurate employee records and data protection standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and service delivery.
