Job summary

Nearform is seeking a Senior Golang Engineer to design and build scalable applications using Golang, collaborating with distributed teams across client projects. The role emphasizes strong Kubernetes handling, testing discipline, and a proactive, communicative approach in a remote-friendly setup.

We expect at least 6 years of senior-level software experience, deep Golang knowledge, and solid experience with cloud environments and CI/CD workflows.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience, typically 6+ years in engineering roles.
• Proven delivery experience in an agile environment.
• Deep Golang knowledge and production-grade experience.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise.
• Strong Git version control knowledge.
• Experience with testing at unit/integration/End-to-End levels.
• Experience with databases and cloud environments.
• Experience with automation, CI and CD.
• Experience building software collaboratively via PRs and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications using Golang.
• Support component design and ensure technical quality across projects.
• Define structured practices for source control, building, and deployment.
