Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Senior Counsel to scale our international Public Sector compliance program, providing practical, risk-balanced guidance for EMEA and other markets. You will partner with in-region contracting teams and cross-functional stakeholders to enable responsible growth and translate global standards into locally workable policies.

You will also lead investigations when required and develop scalable playbooks, templates, and enablement to accelerate moving faster with confidence

Qualifications

• Qualified attorney in good standing in an EMEA jurisdiction.
• Experience advising on public sector procurement/government contracting in EMEA.
• Investigations experience is a plus, with knowledge of local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, business-oriented compliance guidance to unblock deals across international markets.
• Localize global compliance guidance into locally workable approaches.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver guardrails and options for growth.
• Develop reusable templates, playbooks, and enablement materials.
• Lead internal investigations as needed, with sensitivity to local requirements.
