Job summary

Clearwater Analytics seeks an Associate General Counsel - International to provide legal, compliance and risk guidance for its global operations, including cross-border contracting and privacy compliance.

Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will negotiate complex licenses, coordinate with outside counsel, and support international growth while ensuring governance and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Jurisdictional cross-border experience and licensure.
• Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.
• Demonstrated navigating multi-jurisdiction regulatory regimes.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal, compliance, and risk guidance across jurisdictions.
• Review data and advise on appropriate legal actions globally.
• Coordinate litigation with outside counsel in non-U.S. jurisdictions.
• Lead cross-border licenses and complex commercial agreements for technology and services.
• Support international growth with governance and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and provide updates to the business.
• Maintain contractual compliance and corporate governance across entities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to protect Clearwater globally.
