Job summary

MCS Group is partnering with a growing Irish technology company building secure, AI-powered software used by businesses across international markets. They are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to scale and modernise their platform in a hybrid Dublin setup.

The role focuses on solving complex problems across the stack, with strong emphasis on Java/Spring, REST APIs, and modern frontend tech like React and Angular. You’ll design, implement and own features end-to-end in AWS environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with production applications.
• Strong commercial Java and Spring experience is essential.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs and working across frontend/backends.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve backend applications using Java and Spring.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs across backend and frontend systems.
• Work across modern JavaScript/TypeScript apps using React and Angular.
• Build and support scalable services within AWS.
• Investigate and troubleshoot production issues and participate in code reviews.
