Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a skilled financial reporting professional to support asset management clients with IFRS, GAAP reporting and audits. You will help with financial statements, tie-outs, and coordination with fund admins and auditors.

The role involves using AI tools for disclosure drafting, document comparison and checks, while ensuring accuracy and compliance across multiple frameworks. Strong Excel and data-handling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification.
• 2–3 years experience in financial services sector or worked in the top ten auditing firms specialising on financial services industry.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS and at least one relevant GAAP framework.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Basic AI literacy, including effective prompting, output validation and secure handling of client information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual and interim financial statements and supporting schedules for investment funds under IFRS, US GAAP, Lux GAAP, FRS 102 or other applicable frameworks.
• Perform financial statement tie-outs, prior-year comparisons and first-level checks; maintain clear supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors and internal reviewers to resolve queries and meet deadlines.
• Use approved AI tools for disclosure drafting, document comparison, variance summaries and checklist support.
• Validate AI-generated content against source records and elevate accounting, data or confidentiality concerns.
• Will build strong relationships with client representatives.
• May also be involved in fund accounting engagements and other regulatory reporting activities.
