Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland seeks a senior professional with investment fund financial reporting expertise to lead complex engagements and develop trusted client partnerships. You will guide regulatory and accounting analyses across jurisdictions, and shape AI-enabled reporting roadmaps aligned with client needs and risk appetite.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification.
• 8+ years of investment fund financial reporting experience, with at least 3 years leading teams and delivering multiple projects.
• Deep technical expertise in investment fund reporting under US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP with strong commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to lead change, manage risk and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong Excel and Office skills with clear, professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund reporting engagements and manage quality, risk, profitability and delivery.
• Review financial statements, disclosures, schedules and audit packs for completeness and consistency.
• Review complex accounting and disclosure matters including valuation, instruments, consolidation, related parties and going concern.
• Develop senior client relationships, provide trusted advice and identify new business opportunities.
• Provide leadership on accounting, regulatory and reporting matters across jurisdictions and asset classes.
• Set portfolio priorities and resource strategy; mentor and develop future leaders.
• Define AI-enabled financial reporting vision and roadmaps aligned with firm strategy and client needs.
• Drive AI initiatives, oversee adoption, benefits and emerging risks, and support workforce planning and recruitment.

Education
