Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a senior investment fund reporting professional to manage a portfolio of investment fund reporting clients, ensuring quality, timelines and delivery. You will review financial statements, disclosures and supporting schedules, lead client relationships with auditors and administrators, and drive AI and automation initiatives across the reporting lifecycle.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CPA or IFAC qualification, 6–8 years in fund financial reporting and experience

Qualifications

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA or IFAC equivalent.
6–8 years of experience in investment fund financial reporting.
Experience leading teams, managing client engagements and delivery.
Deep knowledge of fund reporting under US GAAP, IFRS and Lux GAAP.
Strong Excel and Office skills; strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of investment fund reporting clients with accountability for quality, resourcing, timelines, budgets and client delivery.
Review financial statements, disclosures and schedules and audit support packs for completeness and consistency.
Review complex accounting and disclosure matters including valuation, financial instruments, consolidation and going concern.
Lead client, auditor and administrator relationships and resolve significant reporting or audit issues.
Develop team capability through coaching, technical training and succession planning.
Lead AI and automation initiatives across the reporting lifecycle and define controls for AI use.
