Job summary

Leinster Appointments seeks a Financial Controller to lead the Accounts Department in West Wicklow / Kildare. You will manage AP/AR and all reporting obligations, reporting to the Managing Director, and shaping the financial control environment.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA, 4+ PQE, and strong technical skills in BrightPay, Excel, and SAP/ERP. You will drive accuracy, compliance, and robust financial planning.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with professional designation (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
• Minimum of 4 years PQE.
• Reliable, self-motivated and highly organised.
• Strong ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent numeracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Process POs and invoicing through SAP.
• Understand and manage taxes including VAT and payroll taxes.
• Cash management and forecasting.
• Payroll processing.
• Prepare statutory and regulatory submissions.
• Perform general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Process invoices per internal procedures.
• Ensure internal control procedures are followed.
• Handle queries from customers and suppliers.
