Job summary

GTS Group is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to install, service and maintain vehicle CCTV systems and auto electrical equipment across Ireland. The role is field-based, predominantly visiting customer sites with occasional night work.

You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance, and support vehicle technology installations while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring safety and SLA compliance. A driving licence and relevant electrical qualification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle CCTV systems, auto electrical or electronic systems.
• Strong electrical and technical fault-finding skills.
• Experience in a Field Service Engineer or mobile engineering role.
• Knowledge of DVRs and CCTV components advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Installation, service and maintenance of vehicle CCTV systems.
• Diagnosing CCTV, electrical and electronic faults.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Supporting installations across bus, coach and rail fleets.
• Providing training and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Completing digital/PDA service reports after site visits.
