Job summary

Ocular is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair vehicle CCTV and driver‑aid systems across the field-based team. You will support a broad customer base, handle fault requests, perform preventive maintenance and assist with installations.

You will mentor junior team members, adapt to a flexible schedule including occasional nights, and travel regionally with full training provided to grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in CCTV, auto electricals, electronics, vehicle technology or similar hands‑on technical engineering environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to understand and translate customer requirements
• Full driving licence
• Flexible approach to travel, nights and overnight stays

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and fault‑rectify vehicle CCTV and driver‑aid systems.
• Provide clear reports and maintain professional communication with customers and internal teams
• Support training and development of junior engineers
• Manage stock and equipment and ensure safety policies
• Assist regional operations and respond to emails professionally
