Job summary

Ocular is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair vehicle CCTV systems and driver assistance systems across Ireland. The role supports daily fault requests, scheduled maintenance, and installations while mentoring junior team members.

The ideal candidate has hands-on CCTV/electrical experience, a full driving licence, and flexibility for travel, with full training provided to support ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience in CCTV and vehicle technology in hands-on engineering.
• Basic IT competence and driving licence required.
• Excellent communication with customers and teams.
• Flexible travel including nights/overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair vehicle CCTV and driver‑aid systems.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure service activity meets timescales and quality standards.
• Maintain stock and equipment and follow health & safety policies.
