Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customers in the EMEA region. This on-site role at the Celbridge facility requires installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Lam’s complex semiconductor systems, with frequent travel across Europe and beyond.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, strong schematics interpretation skills, and the ability to work varied shifts. EU passport is required for cross-country assignments.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a technical degree/diploma with 2+ years of experience.
• Proficiency interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically, across Europe and internationally, and to work varied shifts including overtime and on-call.
• EU passport is required due to assignments across EU countries.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and start-up services for Lam’s electro-mechanical systems at customer sites.
• Diagnose issues through analysis, testing, and component-level troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Stay updated on semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through training and certification.
• Maintain records and reports coordinating activities between Lam and customers.
