Job summary

TrendAI, the enterprise business unit of Trend Micro, seeks a Europe Payroll Manager to deliver accurate and compliant monthly payroll for ~900 employees across 27 European countries. You will lead payroll operations, vendor management, and governance, partnering with HR, Finance, and external providers to ensure a high-quality employee experience.

Role requires 3–5 years' senior payroll leadership, multinational exposure, and strong knowledge of payroll accounting and SOX/JSOX controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a European Payroll Manager or equivalent senior payroll leadership role.
• Experience operating within a multinational and/or shared services environment.
• Proven experience managing payroll across multiple European countries.
• Strong understanding of payroll accounting principles and General Ledger reporting requirements.
• Experience working within SOX/JSOX-controlled environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for approximately 900 employees across 27 European countries, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
• Coordinate collection, validation, and submission of payroll inputs from internal stakeholders to external payroll providers.
• Review and reconcile payroll reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Provide payroll accounting information and reconciliations to the General Ledger and Finance teams.
• Own payroll controls, governance frameworks, and compliance with audits and regulatory requirements.
