Job summary

Brightpath Recruitment is seeking a Senior Estimator for a leading Irish main contractor in Galway, with hybrid working options. You will lead tender preparation, cost planning and bid strategy on prestigious commercial, industrial and educational projects across Ireland.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or similar, bring 5+ years of estimating experience and be proficient in CostX or Bluebeam, with strong knowledge of Public Works Contracts and Irish procurement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or similar.
• 5+ years’ estimating experience.
• Experience pricing projects valued at €5m+.
• Strong knowledge of Public Works Contracts and Irish procurement.
• Proficiency in CostX, Bluebeam or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents and bids for projects.
• Cost planning and cost management throughout the tender process.
• Develop bid strategy to win high-profile contracts.
