Job summary

ESB is seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join our Business Application Support team in Dublin. You will maintain, monitor and improve critical ESB applications that underpin generation operations and trading.

Based in ESB Head Office with hybrid arrangements, you will collaborate with stakeholders, vendors and IT teams to ensure 24/7 availability and continuous service improvements while contributing to ESB's decarbonisation and resilient infrastructure goals.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years IT experience in Application/Production Support or DevOps.
Experience supporting enterprise apps in multi-tier architectures.
Knowledge of Windows Server administration.
Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Experience with change control processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

Maintain availability, performance and security of business-critical applications.
Troubleshoot incidents to ensure service continuity.
Support releases, upgrades, change requests and disaster recovery activities.
Collaborate with project teams to deliver and integrate new apps.
Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
Work with stakeholders, vendors and support teams.
Participate in on-call and after-hours support as required.
