Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Level 7/8) required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience on civil engineering projects.
• Experience in road construction, highways or major infrastructure preferred.
• Previously at Senior Engineer or Site Agent level.
• Strong setting-out and technical engineering knowledge.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing sections independently.
• Knowledge of quality procedures, construction programmes and site documentation.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Full Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setting out, surveying and technical requirements across the works.
• Monitor progress against programme and assist with short-term planning of site activities.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction information, raising RFIs where required.
• Maintain strong quality control and ensure accurate site, inspection and as-built records.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and wider project team to resolve technical and programme issues.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with project specifications and Health & Safety requirements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and other project stakeholders as required.
• Mentor and support junior engineers within the project team.

• Previous experience operating at Senior Engineer, Site Agent or similar level.
• Strong setting out and technical engineering knowledge.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing sections of work independently.
• Good understanding of quality procedures, construction programmes and site documentation.
