Job summary

AllSite Staffing is seeking a Site Engineer with road construction experience in Ireland to join a leading civil engineering contractor. The role focuses on delivering major road and infrastructure projects with strong setting out and surveying skills.

You will support project delivery, coordinate site activities, and ensure quality and safety standards are met while liaising with clients and stakeholders. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Site surveying, setting out and quality control.
• Supporting the Project Manager and Site Agent with day-to-day project delivery.
• Providing technical guidance and support to Junior Engineers.
• Coordinating plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Maintaining accurate site records, diaries and project documentation.
• Attending site meetings and helping resolve technical issues.
• Ensuring works comply with Health & Safety requirements and project specifications.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and key project stakeholders.
• Must have a valid driver license.

Responsibilities

As a Site Engineer, you’ll play an important role in the successful delivery of major road and civil engineering projects, helping ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Site surveying, setting out and quality control
• Supporting the Project Manager and Site Agent with day-to-day project delivery

You’ll ideally have previous experience as a Site Engineer on road, civil engineering or infrastructure projects, with strong setting out and surveying skills.

Road construction experience is essential, along with a full clean driver’s licence.

Experience in utilities, drainage or public infrastructure would be a strong advantage.

You’ll also be organised, technically confident and comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.
