Job summary

Breagh Recruitment is seeking a Senior Engineer in West Dublin, Ireland, to lead civil engineering activities on a major warehouse project. This role involves overseeing groundworks, drainage, utilities and external works with a capable team, reporting to the Project Manager, and driving QA/QC on site.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a Senior Engineer role, a Civil Engineering degree, and experience on industrial/logistics projects. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer position in Ireland.
• Experience across groundworks, drainage, utilities and roads.
• Previous experience on industrial, logistics or warehouse projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of engineering activities across major civil and infrastructure packages, QA/QC procedures and inspections.
• Manage setting out, surveying and technical requirements across groundworks, drainage, utilities, roads, external works and structural elements.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager, design team and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered accurately and efficiently.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers on site, providing technical guidance and ensuring engineering standards are maintained.

Senior Engineer

Overview:

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Engineer with a strong civil engineering background to join a leading International Tier 1 Main Contractor on a major €multi-million warehouse facility in West Dublin. This is a substantial greenfield development involving multiple large scale industrial buildings alongside extensive civil engineering and infrastructure works, giving you plenty of technical variety rather than simply overseeing the building package. You’ll have significant involvement across the civils, including roads, drainage, utilities, groundworks, service yards, hard standings and associated external works, while working alongside an experienced project and engineering team. The company has established itself as a specialist in the delivery of technically challenging industrial projects across Ireland, Britain and even internationally, with particular expertise across logistics, data centres, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical facilities. They have a strong pipeline of work in Ireland and internationally, making this a particularly good opportunity if you're looking for genuine long term progression rather than simply moving from one project to another. There is a real emphasis on giving people responsibility and allowing experienced Engineers to have an input into how projects are delivered. The Package:

Salary will be DOE, but you can expect around €70,000 - €80,000 as well as:
