Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engagement Manager to drive growth in the EMEA region by structuring services engagements that create partnership and shared success with customers. Qualifications

• Experience structuring and selling professional services engagements in the region.
• Proven success in pre-sales discovery, designing outcome-oriented proposals, and crafting custom SOWs and staffing plans for large\, complex implementations.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted advisor relationships with division chiefs, program managers, and technical leaders.
• Conduct discovery sessions with prospects and Systems Integrators to understand capabilities, requirements and outcomes.
• Design outcome-oriented services proposals aligning GitLab capabilities with success metrics.
• Structure engagements and proposals with clear outcomes while allowing staff augmentation and packaged offerings.
• Develop SOWs and staffing plans with delivery leadership to ensure deliverability.
• Articulate GitLab's services value and implementation methodologies in customer context.
• Gain agreement on scope and price and guide customers through procurement processes and contracts.
• Manage escalations and maintain customer confidence at project and account levels.
• Position consulting, training, and additional solutions to ensure long-term retention.
• Facilitate solutioning sessions including roadmapping, enterprise strategy discussions, and requirements gathering.
• Track bookings, margin, and attachment to strategic opportunities.
