Job summary

Reperio Human Capital Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop and test embedded C firmware for ARM Cortex‑M devices in a hybrid Dublin role. You will work on BLE features, ultra‑low‑power firmware and secure boot processes.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of embedded software experience, strong debugging skills (JTAG/SWD, scopes, analyzers) and familiarity with Zephyr or FreeRTOS. Nordic nRF52/53 experience and Python/CI‑CD skills are a plus.

Qualifications

8+ years' embedded software engineering experience.
Strong embedded C on ARM Cortex‑M microcontrollers.
Experience with Zephyr or FreeRTOS.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and test embedded C firmware on ARM Cortex‑M microcontrollers.
Develop BLE functionality, ideally using the Nordic nRF Connect SDK.
Build ultra‑low‑power firmware for battery‑powered devices.
Develop bootloaders, OTA updates and secure boot features.
Work with Zephyr or FreeRTOS and bare‑metal environments.
Support board bring‑up and hardware/software integration with the hardware team.
