Job summary

HRM Search Partners client in Dublin, a long-established food and beverage manufacturer, is hiring a Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician to support safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment across the site. You will carry out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance, diagnose faults, and work with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to improve equipment reliability.

The role is permanent within the Engineering and Maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with QQI Level 6 or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving.
• Experience with automated production equipment.
• Exposure to PLCs/HMIs/VFDs/sensors is advantageous.
• FMCG or high-volume manufacturing experience desirable.
• Understanding of health and safety within an industrial environment.
• Ability to work in a busy engineering/production team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults across production and packaging equipment.
• Support mechanical and instrumentation fault-finding where required.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
• Support preventative maintenance programmes and maintenance scheduling.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering and Quality teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Assist with continuous improvement, equipment upgrades and factory projects.
• Carry out root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records.
• Support site safety, GMP and audit requirements.
