Job summary

Wallace Myers International is recruiting a Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician for a busy food and beverage site in North Dublin. You will lead diagnosis and repair of electrical faults across production lines and packaging equipment to minimise downtime, and deliver planned maintenance in line with the site schedule.

You will investigate repeat failures, drive root-cause analysis, and support GMP while contributing to equipment upgrades and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with formal certification (e.g., Advanced Cert Craft - Electrical / QQI Level 6)
• Proven electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, sensors or control systems is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead diagnosis and repair of electrical faults across production and packaging equipment to minimise downtime
• Deliver planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance in line with the site schedule
• Investigate repeat failures, identify root causes and implement lasting fixes
• Provide mechanical and instrumentation fault-finding support where required
• Contribute to equipment upgrades, factory projects and continuous improvement
• Keep accurate maintenance and compliance records supporting GMP and site safety standards
