Fruition Group Ireland is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician for a Dublin-based, fully onsite role within a busy automated warehouse and distribution environment.

The successful candidate will combine a strong electrical background with hands-on mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience to maintain, troubleshoot and repair automated equipment, maximise reliability and minimise downtime.

Formación

• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Electrical qualification or trade background desirable.
• Experience maintaining plant, machinery or automated equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a maintenance team.
• Practical problem-solving approach with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a 3-shift cycle across 5 days over 7.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned, preventive and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair faults across automated conveyor systems and associated equipment.
• Maintain strapping, printing and labelling equipment.
• Carry out motor maintenance, fault finding and replacement.
• Troubleshoot equipment using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective repairs.
• Review and improve preventative maintenance routines.
• Support continuous improvements to equipment reliability and performance.
• Work closely with operational and technical teams to minimise downtime.
• Complete all maintenance activities in accordance with relevant quality and safety procedures.

My Dublin based client is recruiting for a Electro Mechanical Technician to join the team this role is fully onsite.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Technician to join an established maintenance team within a busy automated warehouse and distribution environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong electrical background, ideally as a qualified electrician, combined with hands-on mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience.

The role will involve maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a range of automated equipment and systems, with a focus on maximising equipment reliability and minimising downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, preventative and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance.

Desirable Experience

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

• Automated conveyor and material handling systems.
• Refrigeration and cold-room environments.
• Building services and facilities maintenance.
• HVAC systems, pumps, burners and sprinkler systems.
• Pneumatic systems.
• Motors, sensors and scanners.
• Profibus and Siemens SIMATIC systems.
• Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

All maintenance activities should be completed in accordance with applicable quality systems, site procedures and required standards.
