Job summary

Veolia seeks a Senior Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to oversee electrical cost estimation across Design & Build bids in Water, Waste & Energy sectors from proposals through tender submission. You will manage BOQs, rates, and risk assessments while coordinating with Proposals and Contracts teams.

You will negotiate with subcontractors, prepare commercial documentation, and support project delivery with value-driven estimates and cost control across multiple concurrent bids.

Qualifications

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with subcontractors, suppliers and clients across multiple sectors.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Project).
• Experience with construction estimating software and managing multiple bids under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical cost estimation for Design & Build bids across Water, Waste & Energy projects.
• Develop BOQs, schedule of rates and commercial assessments aligned with scope and client requirements.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure quotes and validate costs.
