Job summary

Network Talent Partners is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for data centre projects in Ireland. You will drive design packages from concept to commissioning, covering HV/MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators and critical power systems.

The role requires 5–10+ years of electrical design experience in data centres or mission-critical environments, with BIM/Revit proficiency and a Chartered or progressing chartership being advantageous.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or equivalent.
5–10+ years' electrical design experience, preferably in data centres or mission-critical environments.
Strong understanding of resilient electrical systems and N, N+1 and 2N design.
Experience with BIM/Revit and electrical design software.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design packages from concept through detailed design, construction and commissioning.
Work across HV/MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, UPS, generators, busways and critical power systems.
Develop electrical calculations, load schedules, single-line diagrams, specifications and technical reports.
Mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to the wider electrical team.
Work directly with clients, contractors and other consultants on major projects.
