Job summary

Mercury Engineering requires a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design for data centre projects in Dublin. You will manage design packages from review through procurement and handover, interfacing with the Central Engineering and site teams to ensure compliant, on‑schedule delivery.

The role demands strong knowledge of BIM and Revit, plus proven leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary teams across design and construction phases. A clean driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years post‑graduate experience in the Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences or Data Centre sectors.
• Demonstration of design, technical and construction knowledge is essential for this role.
• Experience in leading meetings and coordinating the other team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and construction managers to develop project plans and ensure delivery on schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, estimators and the workforce involved.
• Liaise with clients and third parties such as insurers and vendors as required.
• Develop and maintain SoW, TIDP, and RACI for Electrical disciplines.
• Raise design‑related risks and establish actions to minimise impact.
• Prepare handover packs and manage Electrical interfaces with CSA and Mechanical.
