Job summary

Verto People Ltd in Denmark is seeking a Senior EHS Advisor to provide Environment, Health and Safety leadership across project activities, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.

You will work with project managers, supervisors and subcontractors to implement EHS management systems, conduct audits, risk assessments and RAMS, and deliver training on site.

The role requires 5+ years in EHS within construction or engineering, with NFQ Level 8 and Level 6 certifications, and IOSH membership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar EHS role within the construction or engineering sector.
• Diploma to NFQ Level 8 in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Certificate to NFQ Level 6 in Environmental Management.
• Experience with construction regulations, CDM roles and subcontractor management.
• Experience with EHS management systems, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 auditing.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance, support and instruction on all EHS matters to management and workers.
• Support project teams with the implementation and maintenance of EHS management systems, plans, risk assessments and RAMS.
• Carry out audits, inspections and reviews, identifying corrective actions to improve EHS performance.
• Prepare and report on EHS risks, incidents and improvement opportunities.
• Support incident investigations, identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Ensure EHS documentation remains current and compliant.
• Deliver EHS training and information to site teams.
• Attend project meetings and EHS coordination meetings.
