Job summary

Coyle Group is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join a leading specialist mechanical engineering contractor and drive high standards of environmental, health and safety across construction operations in Ireland.

Reporting to the Group HSEQ Director and Managing Director, you will lead policy development, implement systems, conduct audits across Ireland and Europe, and mentor EHS Advisors to strengthen a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Senior EHS role focused on leading policies, systems and processes.
• Experience conducting site visits, audits and inspections.
• Ability to advise senior management and project teams on EHS.
• Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of EHS strategies across construction activities.
• Develop and maintain Safety Management Systems in line with legislation and company requirements.
• Conduct site visits across Ireland and Europe, providing EHS support and audits.
• Provide expert EHS guidance to senior management and project teams.
• Monitor EHS performance via KPIs and reporting, driving improvement.
• Lead EHS incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Coordinate EHS training to ensure regulatory compliance and awareness.
• Mentor EHS Advisors and foster high performance.
