Job summary

John Paul Construction is hiring a Senior Health & Safety Manager to be based in Dublin. The role focuses on implementing and monitoring the EHS Management System across projects, promoting safety culture with site teams, and ensuring compliance through regular inspections and reporting.

The successful candidate will have an EHS degree or NEBOSH diploma with 8+ years in health and safety, preferably in construction, and strong IT skills including MS Office and database experience to support

Qualifications

• Recognised EHS Degree or Diploma (NEBOSH diploma or equivalent qualification preferred).
• 8 or more years' experience in Health & Safety roles.
• Previous Construction experience is preferred.
• Ability to prioritise work requirements and handling multiple tasks.
• IT Skills - MS Office packages and database experience.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Company's EHS Management System on the project.
• Promote a positive H&S culture on-site with Site Management, Contractors, and workers.
• Monitor EHS compliance on-site and generate weekly inspections & reports.
• Develop, maintain and foster collaborative relationships with the wider project team.
• Influence and coach site team in the implementation of best practice EHS standards.
