Job summary

Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited is seeking a Dispute Resolution Analyst to adjudicate client complaints and ensure regulatory-compliant outcomes. The role requires knowledge of MiFID and Central Bank of Ireland rules, with emphasis on accuracy and thorough documentation.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience in financial services, supporting fair resolutions across diverse product areas while upholding the Consumer Protection Code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Finance, Law, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• Diploma in Compliance from the Institute of Bankers is required.
• Licentiate or Fellow of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland is desirable.
• Solicitor or Barrister-at-Law qualification in Ireland or membership of Law Society is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present resolutions for complaints on topics such as order routing, status or execution inquiries.
• Investigate and adjudicate client complaints to ensure fair, regulatory-compliant outcomes.
• Escalate issues internally to Programming, Legal or Compliance departments with clear summaries.
• Compile Management Information and trend analysis for the Compliance Department.
• Ensure complaints handling complies with the Consumer Protection Code.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MiFID and Central Bank of Ireland regulations.
• Assist other IBKR entities in resolving complaints when necessary.
