Job summary

Muck Rack, a fully distributed SaaS platform for PR professionals, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. You’ll help scale container-based infrastructure, improve deployment systems, and partner with application teams to deliver reliable services.

You’ll mentor peers, own on-call readiness, and push security and observability practices across engineering. This remote role offers a globally distributed team and opportunities to impact engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or platform engineering.
• Production Kubernetes experience.
• Terraform for IaC and AWS experience.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
• Containerized systems with Docker and containerd.
• Security best practices with shift-left approaches.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve standardized infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Build and operate containerized infrastructure for reliability and cost efficiency.
• Define best practices for Kubernetes adoption across teams.
• Manage AWS cloud components: compute, networking, storage.
• Improve observability and incident readiness; participate in on-call rotation.
• Mentor teammates to raise engineering maturity.
